Meet the Team
Our Team is strong, knowledgeable and compassionate with a desire to support our clients through their Perinatal journey. I have had the privilege of selecting, supervising and mentoring Jessica over the past few years and know that she will be an incredible addition to our team - I can't wait for you to meet her!
What to Expect
Before treatment begins we will discuss your goals for the treatment and make sure you feel comfortable with lying on the table. We offer a special body cushion that allows pregnant and postpartum clients to lie face down safely and comfortably. The cushions adjust to accommodate all different bodies and stages of pregnancy and postpartum. Another option would be side lying with fully supportive cushions. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or would like to change your position you are more than welcome to do so, your comfort and safety is our top priority. If during your treatment you are required to lie on your back during pregnancy, a series of comfortable supports will be used to lie in a semi reclined position so that you are not spending any amount of time flat on your back.

Please know that you are welcome to bring your non-moving baby with you and we are happy to accommodate the session however we need to, so that babe is cared for and you get some much needed care as well.
FAQs
How Soon After Birth Can I Book?
For an uncomplicated vaginal birth you are welcome to come as early as you'd like after birth. This can mean a few days, a few weeks or even a few months - depending on the person.

For surgical birth, as with any surgery, it's important to get clearance from your surgeon before coming for massage, to make sure your incision has healed well and you are cleared for massage. For many people this is between 6 -8 weeks.

How often should I come for treatments?
This is one of the most common questions we get asked, and honestly every person and situation is different but the general rule of thumb is as follows:

Prenatal - 1st and 2nd trimester monthly, 30-36 weeks every two weeks then weekly until baby is born.
Postpartum - every recovery stage is very different, so listen to your body and book accordingly. Monthly is a great place to start
Therapeutic - in the beginning, two to three session’s one week apart is best to give maximum benefit, as every massage session builds on the gains from previous sessions. After that about once a month seems to be the most beneficial for massage to keep its positive effects.
