How Soon After Birth Can I Book?
For an uncomplicated vaginal birth you are welcome to come as early as you'd like after birth. This can mean a few days, a few weeks or even a few months - depending on the person.

For surgical birth, as with any surgery, it's important to get clearance from your surgeon before coming for massage, to make sure your incision has healed well and you are cleared for massage. For many people this is between 6 -8 weeks.
As a Postpartum Massage Therapist
I use manual techniques combined with in-depth knowledge of the healing postpartum body. Just as in pregnancy, our bodies go through rapid change in the months following birth and need special attention during this healing phase to find their new normal in a balanced and healthy way.
What to expect
Before treatment begins we will discuss your goals for the treatment and make sure you feel comfortable with lying on the table. I offer a special body cushion that allows postpartum people lie face down safely and comfortably, with extra space for tender breasts and bellys. Another option would be side lying with fully supportive cushions. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or would like to change your position you are more than welcome to do so, your comfort and safety is my top priority.

Please know that you are welcome to bring your baby with you and I am happy to accommodate the session however we need to so that babe is cared for and you get some much needed care as well.
